Monthly Challenge: February 2018


Okay… so no sugar is so freakin’ hard. It is officially the start of the second week of this challenge. So far I have done decently well. I have limited my sugar to under 30g a day. Although most days I am significantly under 30 grams, I think it is realistic to keep this as the goal. I have only went over my goal 1 day so far…. and I did it on purpose. I couldn’t say no to Peanut Butter Chocolate Popcorn…. yes, you read that correctly.

Anyways…. you wouldn’t believe the amount of sugar that is in some foods that we eat. I encourage you to start paying attention to the nutrition label!

Changes That I’ve Noticed:

  • weight loss
  • shrinkage of belly fat
  • less tired during the middle of the day
  • less thirsty (not sure if this is just a coincidence or truly a product of reduced sugar)
  • subsided cravings of sweets
